Refund Policy

In-person (“boots on the ground”) research

If a property needs in-person county research, we contact you first. If you decline the additional fee, or don't accept within 14 days, we refund the amount paid for that report.

All sales are final

Each report is researched to order using county records and paid data sources, and costs are incurred as soon as research begins. For that reason all sales are final and payments are non-refundable.

Refunds at our discretion

We may, at our sole discretion, issue a full or partial refund or account credit, for example if we are unable to produce any report for the property you identified. Granting a refund in one case does not create an obligation to do so in another.

What does not qualify

• The report contains less information than you expected because of what the county records or publishes.
• No mortgages, liens or judgments were found.
• You identified the wrong property, county or APN.
• Delivery took longer than the estimate.
• You no longer need the report, or the deal did not proceed.

Before disputing a charge

Please email [email protected] with your order number first. You agreed in our Terms of Service to give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve any concern before initiating a chargeback.
